New Delhi: Ankita Lokhande and her ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-actor Usha Nadkarni will be seen on the dance reality show ‘DID Super Moms’. The actors were part of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ special episode. One of the contestants will give a performance dedicated to Sushant Singh Rajput (who played Manav in ‘Pavitra Rishta’) leaving Ankita teary-eyed.
A video was shared by ZEE TV on its Instagram handle with the caption: “Iss weekend #PavitraRishta special mein, #SuperMomSadhanaMishra ki bemisaal performance aur #AnkitaLokhandeJain ki baatein kar dengi hum sabki aankhein nam. Dekhiye #DIDSuperMoms, Sat-Sun, raat 9 baje, sirf #ZeeTV par aur kahin bhi, kabhi bhi #ZEE5 App par.”
The video shows contestant Sadhana Mishra and her choreographer dancing to Lakshya’s song “Kitni Baatein”. The screen also shows many photos of Sushant, which gets both Ankita and Usha teary-eyed. Ankita says, “Woh bohot close ek dost tha…sab kuch tha. Aur woh jaha bhi hai bohot khush hai I am sure. God bless him (He was a close friend, my everything. I am sure he is happy wherever he is).” Usha Nadkarni, who played Sushant’s mother in the show, is seen wiping her tears.
Sushant’s fans were quick to drop comments on the post with emotional emojis and remembering the late actor.
The show is judged by Remo D’Souza, Bhagyashree, and Urmila Matondkar and hosted by Jay Bhanushali.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande met on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and soon started dating and were supposed to tie the knot but the couple parted their ways in 2016. Ankita tied the knot with businessman Vikas Jain in December 2021.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in 2020. His death shocked the entire nation including his fans, friends, and families. The actor was dating actress Rhea Chakraborty at that time.
