The crowd seen with Amritpal Singh used to join the de-addiction center itself.

Mukhi Amritpal Singh of Waris Punjab De has been lodged in Dibrugarh Jail in Assam since his arrest. He started associating the youth of Punjab with him by using drugs as a shield. He also opened a de-addiction center in his village Jallupur Kheda near Raiya in Amritsar, for which he collected crores of rupees.

Amritpal started this de-addiction center at Baba Kala Mahar Gurdwara in Phirni (outside) village. Police investigation revealed that this de-addiction center of Amritpal Singh was illegal. No doctor was hired to run this center. Not only this, only one pharmacist was handling the entire center and used to give medicines to the people who came here according to him.

Not only this, crores of rupees were funded to Amritpal in the name of de-addiction center. Whose investigation has now been started by the Punjab Police. The entire record of where this money was coming from, through which channel and who was sending it, is being scrutinised.

90% of the youth in the de-addiction center were from Malwa
The people of the village are not ready to talk about Amritpal in front of the camera, but after turning off the camera, they tell surprising things. People told that 90 percent of the youths whom Amritpal Singh had kept in the Gurudwara to get rid of drugs were from Malwa. There were not more than one or two youths from his village. Mine didn’t look young at all. It was a matter of wonder why those youths wanted to give up their intoxication by coming so far away to Amritpal.

In the de-addiction center, he was seen drinking only fruits, dry-fruits and milk etc. The villagers were also surprised that from where this much fund was coming.

people objected
Some elders of the village told that the youths whom Amritpal Singh had kept in the de-addiction centre, used to roam around the village. People objected to outsiders roaming in the village like this. Only after that Amritpal was thinking of taking him out of the village.

Posters of Waris Punjab De and Deep Sidhu were pasted on the walls of the Gurdwara.

Amritpal was preparing to shift to Moga
Amritpal Singh was preparing to shift this drug center to Gurudwara Sahib of village Jogewala in Moga. He had started this preparation from February 15, boards were also installed. But two days later, Amritpal Singh’s accomplice Toofan was arrested by the police.

On 23rd April, Amritpal Singh attacked Ajnala police station with his companions. In the situation of tension, this de-addiction center could not shift completely. Now after the arrest of Amritpal Singh it has completely stopped.

Brain wash used to happen in the center
This is not the first objection to Amritpal Singh’s de-addiction center. The Punjab Police has been accusing Amritpal Singh in connection with this center in the past as well. Police believe that Amritpal Singh was brainwashing the youth here. He was preparing them for the Khalistan movement. Not only this, they were being given weapons training and were also being prepared to make human bombs.
