Amitabh Bachchan and late actor Dilip Kumar shared a close bond. They have worked in the film Shakti which was a hit. And on Sunday, the actor took to social media to pay homage to the legendary actor Dilip Kumar. He shared a heartfelt photo collage featuring the late actor. In his touching tribute, Amitabh Bachchan referred to Kumar as his “idol and inspiration”.
Sharing a collage that has photos featuring both actors and also a letter which was written by Dilip Kumar. He has mentioned the tribute which Mr Bachchan has given to him in his blob. Dilip Kumar wrote that he read again and again and was also having tears in his eyes. Sharing the same, the Kalki actor wrote, “What can one say when you receive the blessings from the Ultimate actor, my idol and inspiration,…”

Earlier in the day, Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media handle to share a video and made the announcement that Black is released on OTT. Taking to his Instagram handle, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “It’s been 19 years since Black released, and today we’re celebrating it’s first ever digital release on Netflix! Debraj and Michelle’s journey has been an inspiration to all of us, and we hope it instills you with strength and compassion.” One of the fans wrote, “Sheer brilliance onscreen.” Another wrote, “Classic.” Many dropped heart emojis in the comment section.
On the work front, Amitabh has a series of projects in the pipeline. These include Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, and Vettaiyan with Rajinikanth. Vettaiyan marks Amitabh’s Tamil film debut. He also recently wrapped a season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
