Allu Arjun REJECTS Rs 10 Crore Liquor and Pan Brand Endorsement For Pushpa 2; Deets Inside – News18

Allu Arjun is currently working on one of his most-awaited movies, Pushpa 2: The Rule. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the film, it has now been reported that the Telugu star has turned down a liquor and pan brand offer which wanted its logo to be displayed on screen each time ‘Pushpa’ smokes or chews in the movie. As reported by Gulte, the brand had offered a huge sum of Rs 10 crore to the makers of the film but Allu Arjun rejected it saying he wasn’t “comfortable” with the promotion of such brands.

This is not the first time that Allu Arjun has turned down an offer from a liquor or pan brand. After the success of Pushpa: The Rise, it was reported that the actor was offered a huge amount by a tobacco company for a television commercial. However, he rejected that offer too.

Talking about Pushpa, the film is written and directed by Sukumar. Pushpa: The Rise was released in 2021 and turned out to be a blockbuster movie. The action drama dealt with red sandalwood smuggling. Allu Arjun recently won the Best Actor National Award for her performance in the movie.

Earlier this year, Allu Arjun shared his first-look poster of Pushpa 2 in which he was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported bangles, jewellery, a nose pin and jhumkas. Later, the look poster of Fahadh Faasil from the movie was also released. Fans are now waiting for Rashmika Mandanna’s look poster.

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi has also reportedly joined the sequel of Pushpa. Reportedly, the makers are also planning to get on board a Bollywood actor too. However, no name has been officially announced as of now.

It was earlier said that Pushpa 2: The Rule is likely to hit theatres in December 2023. However, it was recently announced that Pushpa 2 will be released on August 15, 2024.
