Nani and Mrunal Thakur are making headlines for their commendable performances in the recently released Telugu film, Hi Nanna. Directed by the debutant Shouryuv, the film has completed its first weekend, amassing a solid Rs 40 crore gross in just four days. Now, Allu Arjun has shared his thoughts on the film on X (Formerly Twitter). The actor had nothing but praise for the lead actors.
Allu shared, “Congratulations to the entire team of Hi Nanna. What a sweet warm film. Truly heart-touching. Effortless performance by brother Nani Garu. And my respects for green-lighting such a captivating script and bringing it into the light. Dear Mrunal, your sweetness is haunting on the screen. It’s beautiful like you. Baby Kiara! My darling, you’re melting hearts with your cuteness. Enough! Go to school now.”
The actor-director also applauded the technical team behind Hi Nanna and reserved special appreciation for director Shouryuv, who made an impressive debut with the film. “Congratulations! You have impressed everyone with your debut film. You have created many heart-touching & and tear-jerking moments. Wonderful presentation. Keep Shining,” he added.

In response, Nani expressed gratitude for the review, saying, “Arha’s Nanna approves. Thank you, so much dear bunny. You’ve always been there for good cinema.”
What makes Allu Arjun’s review even more special is his personal connection to the narrative. The actor shares a close bond with his daughter, Arha, who is around the same age as Kiara’s character in the film.
Hi Nanna revolves around the story of a single father and his curious daughter seeking the truth about her absent mother. In the film, Mrunal Thakur plays the character of Nani’s love interest. Apart from Nani and Mrunal Thakur, the film also stars Kiara Khanna (child artist) in the lead role while Angad Bedi, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Jayaram, and Viraj Ashwin deliver noteworthy contributions in supporting roles. It is produced by Vyra Entertainment and features music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by Sanu Varghese, and editing by Praveen Anthony.
On the professional front, Nani will be next seen in Vivek Athreya’s action thriller film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur is gearing up for an upcoming thriller film Pooja Meri Jaan alongside Huma Qureshi and Vijay Raaz.
