The three army chiefs met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday evening amid protests against the Agneepath scheme of army recruitment in different states of the country. The PM held a meeting with different army chiefs at his residence. First of all, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar reached the PM residence. After the meeting with the Navy Chief was over, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary reached to meet the PM. Lastly, Army Chief Jan Manoj Pandey met PM Modi.

It is being told that this meeting was held according to the security. The PM had a 30-minute meeting with the three army chiefs. Let us inform that the Air Force, Navy and Army have issued a notification regarding the recruitment of Agniveers. Air Force is starting recruitment under Agneepath scheme from 24th June, Navy 25th June and Army from 1st July.
