New Delhi: The year 2023 is here, promising hope and happiness in the testing times of COVID. People bid adieu to 2022 and welcomed New Year with open arms, hoping to have a blissful year ahead. With New Year celebrations going on across the globe, several Bollywood celebrities also shared glimpses of how they rang in 2023 with close friends and family, on social media.
Power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who had their first New Year celebration together post after marriage, hosted a house party for their close friends and family members. Alia shared glimpses of the party that was all about fun and laughter. The pictures also give a glimpse of the warm and cosy decor.
Alia can be seen looking all cute as she poses in a printed nightsuit wearing a hairband with 2023 written on it. Alia and Ranbir were joined by Alia’s sister Shaheen, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ayan Mukerji, Luv Ranjan and others as they rang in the New Year together.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram, Alia wrote, “happy new new .. with my loveliest ones ❤️🎉☀️💃”

Malaika Arora rang in the New Year with bae Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal and others. Malaika shared a picture that shows all of them cluttered in a close hug as they pose for the camera with a beautifully decorated tree in the background.
