The Diljit Dosanjh starrer which revolves around the 1984 Anti-Sikh riots has been getting a lot of love and appreciation from all over the world. The film maker is elated and excited. While Jogi has emerged as a hit, Ali is often asked this question by fans of Salman Khan on social media – ‘when will you guys make another film?’

‘I MISS WORKING WITH SALMAN KHAN’

Ali and Salman’s last offering was the 2019 Bharat and they haven’t worked together since then. In fact, Ali, who gave Salman a huge hit with the 2017 Tiger Zinda Hai, is not working on the franchise anymore. When asked if he misses working with Salman, Ali says, “I miss him. I miss spending time with him, his sense of humour, the way he pulls my leg. I miss him. I just love him, to be very honest. I don’t know of anyone who knows Salman Khan but doesn’t like him. He is all hearts. If he doesn’t like you, he will tell you ‘today, I don’t like you’. If he is upset with you, he will tell you about that. He doesn’t shy away from it.”

‘WE WILL BE BACK’

When asked if the audience can expect an Ali and Salman collaboration soon, the director said, “We have a great bond and it reflects in the films that we make together. I am in the process of creating something. I think it was good to take that break because I did back-to-back projects with him. It was important to take this break from working with him to find something new to work on with him, and obviously, when I am fully ready, I will go back to him and narrate it to him and if he likes it, we will be back.”
