Ajmer’s mountaineer Anurag Malu, who went missing from Mount Annapurna, the world’s tenth highest peak located in the Himalayas, was found safe after three days. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Father Omprakash Malu told- He has been admitted to Manipal Hospital in Pokhara in Nepal. Anurag is not in a position to talk right now. His condition is said to be fine.

After the location was traced, the Indian Army and Nepal Army along with other organizations were looking for him. Got success at around 10 am on Thursday. After the news of the rescue, the family has heaved a sigh of relief at their home in Kishangarh.

Anurag Malu (34) left for Nepal on 24 March. He went missing on the morning of 17 April while descending from Camp-3 of Mount Annapurna. They were at an altitude of 6000 meters above sea level when the accident happened. They fell into the crevice of the mountain. However, it was not known how deep the crack was.

Anurag had very little food and drink. There was a lack of oxygen amidst the snowy mountain. Bone-melting icy winds on it. Despite all this, he did not lose his courage and defeated death. The height of Mount Annapurna is 8,091 meters.

Anurag Malu fell from Mount Annapurna peak in Nepal into a crevice between the mountains. It is not yet known how deep the crack was.

After the disappearance of Anurag Malu, the team searched, but no one was found. After this the family was informed. Other family members including brother Ashish Malu reached there. After this the search continued. They met on Thursday morning. Anurag has done B.Tech. He also does counseling for the youth. His younger brother Ashish is a CA.

Pakistani friend also prayed
As soon as the news of Anurag’s disappearance was received, his friend Shehar Mirza in Pakistan prayed for his well-being. Both had met in Pakistan only. They were in contact for the last 10 years. Anurag has also gone to Lahore in a program. Shehar said – She used to shiver just thinking that in what condition Anurag would be.
