Congress candidate Ajay Maken has challenged in the Punjab and Haryana High Court the victory of independent candidate Kartikeya Sharma in the elections held for two Rajya Sabha seats in Haryana last month. After filing the petition on Monday, Maken said a ballot which should have been rejected was wrongly accepted. He also said that Kiran Chaudhary’s vote has been rejected. To which Kiran retorted and said that I do not need anyone’s certificate to be loyal to the Congress party.

Maken said the ballot was voted in the name of an independent candidate. During the counting on his behalf, it was objected that the secrecy was out, but he was not heard. Now he has filed a petition in the court regarding these points.

Ajay Maken said that the vote in favor of the independent candidate should not have been accepted. It was not the vote of any Congress MLA. Where one, two, three should have been written, it was not written there. Written on the other hand, therefore, a petition has been filed in the court challenging the election result.

Kiran Choudhary’s vote was canceled

Ajay Maken said that Kiran Chaudhary’s vote has also been canceled in the Rajya Sabha elections. Kiran Chaudhary had told that I did tick. We also checked the belt paper. Kiran Choudhary ticked the ballot paper. Whether it was done intentionally or by mistake, it is for them to tell. This could also be a mistake. On the one hand, it is a matter of seriousness that our official agent had said that we have 30 votes cast. Every vote was being shown to the official agent, while 29 votes came out. It did even more damage. Even when the BJP was busy trying to cancel the entire election, we were sure that we had 30 votes. So now it may be that they too were at fault. Errors of both together seem statistically impossible. Both have to sit together and tell who made a mistake and who did it intentionally.

On the other hand, Kiran Chaudhary retorted and said that Ajay Maken has lost many elections, my sympathies are with him. Kiran said that I do not want a certificate of loyalty to the Congress party from anyone. Sonia Gandhi ji knows everything.

this was the case

There were 3 candidates for 2 seats of Haryana Rajya Sabha. The victory of BJP candidate Krishna Panwar was certain in the election. It was a contest between Independent candidate Kartikeya Sharma and Congress candidate Ajay Maken. Angry over not being made Congress state president, Kuldeep Bishnoi did cross-voting in support of the independent candidate. A Congress MLA’s vote was cancelled. Which turned out to be Kiran Chaudhary.

There were 90 MLAs in the Rajya Sabha elections. The value of one vote is 100. According to the formula for the Rajya Sabha elections, 1 vote of the Congress was canceled. Independent MLA Balraj Kundu did not vote for anyone. According to the 88 vote count, Krishan Lal Panwar needed 29.34 votes to win. But he got 31 votes. The 1.67 votes that came in his share went to independent Karthikeya Sharma. He got a total of 29 votes, while Maken got 29 votes after one Congress vote was canceled. Accordingly, Panwar got 2934 value, Kartikeya got 2966 and Maken got 2900 value. On the basis of this Panwar and Kartikeya were declared victorious.
