NEW DELHI: Leading telecom operator Airtel has introduced a new prepaid plan for its subscribers. The service provider has introduced a prepaid plan of Rs 666 for its users. The new plan from Airtel offers data, unlimited calling and free SMS benefits.

The new plan from Airtel offers unlimited calling facility and 1.5GB data daily. Users also get 100 SMS per day as part of the plan. The plan comes with the validity of 77 days and if subscribers exhaust the daily limit then speed will come down to 64kpb. The plan also offers cashback of Rs 100 on FASTag, free Wynk music subscription, and free Hello Tunes.

This new prepaid plan from Airtel will compete against the recently launched Rs 666 plan from Vodafone Idea. The Rs 666 plan from We offers 1.5GB daily data and 100 SMS per day. Users will also get the benefit of unlimited calling as part of the plan. This new prepaid plan comes with the validity of 77 days. Along with all this, the plan also offers some additional benefits like Binge All Night, Data Delight Offer, Weekend Data Rollover, and free access to Vi Movies and TV.
Airtel increases prepaid mobile tariffs
Airtel recently announced the price hike for its prepaid mobile plans. The company raised the price of its prepaid plans by 20-25%. The new prices are already live. The Rs 79 plan with 28 days validity will now cost Rs 99, an increase of Rs 20. The plan will offer 50% more talktime of Rs 99, 200MB data 1p/sec voice tariff. The Rs 149 plan will be priced at Rs 179.
