Air India has chosen the timing of this flight keeping tourism and business in mind. According to the information received, this flight will take off from May 20. Air-India’s Airbus A320/321 (seats 140–180) will depart Amritsar daily at 1.35 am to reach Mumbai at 4.20 am.

At the same time, this flight will take off from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Rao International Airport at 10 pm, which will land at Amritsar airport at 12.55 pm after traveling for 2 hours 55 minutes.

This flight will be better for tourists
Yogesh Kamra of Amritsar Vikas Manch and Fly Amritsar Initiative told that at present only Indigo flight was connecting Amritsar-Mumbai. Business and tourists are going to benefit the most from this decision of Air-India. Sikhs settled in Mumbai can land from Mumbai to Amritsar at night. After visiting the Golden Temple in the morning and visiting the Wagah border, you can return to Mumbai in the same day.

This flight will be beneficial for the businessmen of Amritsar
This flight leaving from Amritsar to Mumbai is also going to be beneficial for businessmen. The businessmen of Amritsar can catch a flight from Amritsar at 1.35 pm and after finishing their work and meetings in Mumbai in the morning, can again reach Amritsar by catching a flight at 10 pm.

Important route for tourists, textile and jewelery business
Kamal Dalmiya, chairman of the Focal Point United Industries Association, said that textile traders go to Surat by flight from Mumbai. Apart from diamond jewelery traders, devotees also go to importer-exporter and Shirdi. At the same time, many tourists from Mumbai come to Gurunagari to pay obeisance. The government should further increase the number of flights on this route.
