Candidates can apply for the AIIMS NORCET 6 exam by visiting the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. The Stage I (preliminary exam) will be held on April 14

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi recently started the application process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-6) 2024. The registration process began on February 26 and will conclude on March 17. Candidates can apply for the NORCET-6 exam by visiting the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. After the application process closes, the correction window will open from March 18 to March 23.

According to the official schedule, the Stage I (Preliminary exam) will be held on April 14. The Stage II (Mains exam) is scheduled to be conducted on May 5. Both the exams will be administered in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

AIIMS NORCET 6: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Those applying for the NORCET 6 exam must hold a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognised Institute or University. They must be registered as nurses and midwives with the State or Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years as on March 17, this year. The upper age limit relaxations apply to reserved category aspirants.

AIIMS NORCET 6 Exam: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to AIIMS Delhi’s official website at aiimsexams.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, search and click on the “Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-6)” link.

Step 3: Then register and proceed with the application form.

Step 4: Fill out the form as asked, pay the application fee, and submit it as directed.

Step 5: Keep a printout of the AIIMS NORCET 6 application form.

AIIMS NORCET 6: Application Fee

Candidates from the General, Other Backward Class (OBC) category must pay a fee of Rs 3,000, while SC, ST, and EWS candidates need to pay Rs 2,400 as the registration fee. However, applicants from the PwD category are not required to pay the fee.

AIIMS NORCET 6: Salary Details

Based on available vacancies, AIIMS Delhi intends to fill Nursing Officer positions at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4,600, Group-B for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutions through this recruitment exam.
