AIBE 17 Admit Card Expected Today At barcouncilofindia.org, Know How To Download

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will release the admit cards for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE XVII or AIBE 17) today, January 30. Once released, candidates can download AIBE admit cards from the official website, barcouncilofindia.org or allindiabarexamination.com.

As per schedule, the AIBE 17 exam will be conducted on February 05, 2022. The online registration for the exam started on December 13, 2022.

Recently, BCI has extended the deadline for AIBE XVII or AIBE 17 application process to January 18, 2023. The previous deadline was January 16, 2023. The council made the decision based on requests received from many candidates.

  • Visit the official website, barcouncilofindia.org or allindiabarexamination.com.
  • Click on the admit card link on the home page.
  • Enter the required details and click on the submit button.
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

About All India Bar Examination

All India Bar Examination is a certification exam conducted twice a year by the Bar Council of India for law graduates willing to start practicing the profession as lawyers. The exam is conducted in 50 cities having 140 centres as an open book exam.

The All India Bar Examination was considered and approved by the Bar Council of India at its meeting held on 30th April 2010, wherein it was decided by the Council that the examination shall be mandatory for all law students graduating from the academic year 2009-2010 onwards and that candidates may apply to appear in the examination only after enrolling as advocates under Section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961.

The Sole intention of the AIBE examination was to improve the standard of the legal profession; therefore, the AIBE examination is not relevant for those not interested in entering the legal profession. Therefore, those candidates, who are not interested in practicing the law, cannot be exempted from obtaining enrolment before State Bar Council for appearing in the AIBE.
