Agra College Masters Admission: Know Cut Off And Documents Needed For Application – News18

Agra College has recently released the cutoff list for Masters (MA). The highest cutoff in this year is 110.11 for the history department and 104.82 for political science. The first counselling was held on August 20. The second and final counselling was held on August 21. Principal Dr Anurag Shukla said that the counselling will start at 10 am. As per the latest report, there are 60-60 seats in each subject. Selected candidates should bring Agra College application form, registration receipt of Rs 350, university web registration number, high school, intermediate, and graduation mark sheets, caste, income certificate, and economically weaker section certificate, TC, and character certificate. It will be mandatory to deposit the fee within two days of counselling. The cutoff list will be considered on the basis of 100 percent marks in graduation and 50 percent marks in intermediate.

1. Hindi: Unreserved 95.88, Other Backward Classes 77.79, Scheduled Caste 62.59, Economics 79.25

2. English: General 97.97, OBC 75.59, SC 70.63

3. Political Science: General 104.82, OBC 97.10, SC 88.40, EWS 84.93

4. History: General 110.11, OBC 99.20, SC 89.63, EWS 86.07

5. Economics: General 88.77, OBC 73.36, SC 67.19, EWS 67.19

6. Psychology: General 86.67, OBC 73.32, SC 73.37, EWS 73.32

7. Philosophy: 79.08

8. Sanskrit: 80.90

9. Painting: 64.10

Documents:

Documents including Agra College form and receipt of Rs 350, Web registration number of the university, photocopy of 10th, 12th, and BSc mark sheets, Caste, EWS, income certificate, and character certificate and weightage certificate are mandatory to carry. Apart from this, the original documents along with photocopies of all certificates are also necessary. After depositing the fee, the selected candidates should submit the receipt to the concerned department. The fee will be valid for two days after the last date of depositing the fee. After this, the fee link will be closed, and these seats will be filled later on the basis of the waiting list.

Agra College is a government-aided college that is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in India. Pandit Gangadhar Shastri, a noted Sanskrit scholar, founded the college in 1823, long before the first university in India was established in 1857.

The institute was a government college until 1883, when a board of trustees and a Committee of Management took over administration. Since 1927, the college has been affiliated with B.R. Ambedkar University.
