Rumoured exes Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor reunited at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024. The awards ceremony took place on March 9, Saturday, in Mumbai. While Aditya Roy Kapur won Best Actor for his impressive performance in The Night Manager whereas Shraddha Kapoor was honoured with the Best Actress (Popular) for her stellar performance in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. At the event, the two met for a brief period a video of the same has now gone viral.

In an unfortunate incident, adult film star Sophia Leone died at the age of 26. Reportedly, she was found unresponsive when her family tried to connect with her over a call, according to The Daily Mail. Mike Romero released information about it on GoFundMe. The case is currently under investigation. Sophie’s stepfather confirmed her death on the funding page, “On behalf of her Mother & Family, It is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia’s Passing. The Sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock.”

Post Animal’s success, there was an official announcement of the film’s sequel Animal Park. Bobby Deol who was recently presented the Best Actor in a Negative Role award at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards, opened up about the film’s sequel. Without revealing much the actor shared, “Everybody knows Sandeep Reddy Vanga is making another film which is going to take time.”
The winners of the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024 took place on March 9, in Mumbai. The biggest winner of the night was Animal. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer won the Best Film. The film also took home the award for Best Music. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan were presented with Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. Shraddha bagged the award for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar while Varun won for Bawaal.
Elvish Yadav, Bigg Boss OTT winner, has issued a clarification after a video of him beating YouTuber Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern went viral. He has shared a video on his X handle in which he is seen explaining the whole matter. Reportedly, Elvish has been booked for allegedly assaulting the YouTuber in a shopping mall. Elvish said that the incident was “pre-planned” as the complainant, Sagar Thakur had installed hidden microphones and cameras at the place of their meeting.
