On January 24, Hindenburg issued a report regarding the Adani Group of Companies. Before the report came, the price of one share of Adani Enterprises was around Rs 3400. Its stock closed at Rs 1,531 on Friday. In the last 10 days, the share price of Adani Enterprises has fallen by 56%. During this, the shares of Adani Transmission have also fallen by 50%.

On the other hand, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has said that the banking sector is resilient and stable. Along with this, RBI is constantly monitoring the borrowers. We are monitoring the banking sector, although RBI did not name Adani Group. At the same time, a petition has been filed against Hindenburg Research in the Supreme Court.

Pakistan needs a loan of $ 1.2 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). But the IMF has imposed strict conditions for giving loan installments. 1. Adani’s stock fell by 35%, then recovered by 50%, decreased after Hindenburg’s report

On January 24, the price of one share of Adani Enterprises was Rs.3442. Its stock closed at Rs 1,531 on Friday. US stock exchange Dow Jones has dropped Adani Enterprises from its sustainability index. After this the shares of the company fell by 35%. However, after this there was a recovery in the stock and it closed at Rs 1,531 with a decline of only 2.19%.

The stock has seen a recovery of 50% from the lower level. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings had to be adjourned for the second consecutive day on the issue of SBI and LIC investing money in Adani Group. Before the Hindenburg report came, Adani was at number four among the world’s rich. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani has currently reached number 22.

2. Supreme Court’s displeasure over the delay in the appointment of judges, said- do not force them to take tough decisions
The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended to the Central Government on December 13 for the appointment of 5 judges. But it was not approved. The court expressed displeasure over the delay and told the government that this is a very serious matter. Don’t force us to take such a stand that will cause trouble. In fact, the Advocates Association Bangalore had filed a contempt petition in this matter.

During the hearing on this petition, the court said these things. After this, Attorney General R Venkataramani told the Supreme Court on behalf of the Central Government that the recommendations of the appointment would be approved in the next 5 days. The sanction strength of the judges in the Supreme Court is 34 including the CJI. Presently work is going on with 27 judges. This number will increase to 32 after the five judges take oath.
