According to the report released by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), Uttam Singh of Bharatiya Veer Dal candidate from Chamba, Surdarshan Singh Bablu of Congress from Chintpurni, Naresh Kumar Tailor, Independent from Hamirpur, Manohar Lal from Ghumarvi and Kullu in Kullu, according to the report released by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). Murder cases on these 2 candidates
Murder cases on 2 candidates of Himachal are under consideration. Among them, Congress candidate Ram Kumar from Doon and independent Kulbhushan Thakur from Jogendranagar are facing trial under section 302 of IPC.

According to the ADR, this time 23% of the candidates are contesting elections with criminal image. It is a matter of concern that this time the candidates with criminal image have increased by 4% as compared to 2017.
Of the total 412 candidates, 94 (23%) have cases against them under various sections of the IPC, while in 2017 61 (18%) out of 338 candidates were booked. In 2017, 9% of the candidates were booked under serious sections of IPC. This time on 12%, cases are going on under serious sections. Of these, 25% candidates are from Congress and 9% from BJP.
86 candidates with assets above 5 crore
According to the ADR, 86 candidates (21%) with assets above Rs 5 crore are contesting in Himachal. 76 candidates (18 per cent) with assets between Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore, 121 candidates (29 per cent) with assets between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 2 crore, 77 candidates with assets between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 50 lakh (19 per cent) and 52 candidates with assets between Rs 10 lakh (13%) are contesting elections.

In the state, Choupal MLA Balveer Verma is in the first place with the maximum assets of 128 crores, while Vikramaditya Singh is second and Vikramaditya Singh is second with 101.39 crores.

AAP candidate from Nalagarh Dharampal has total assets of 7.14 crores while he has the highest liability of 12.55 crores. Sudarshan Singh Bablu of Congress from Chintpurni has total assets of Rs 2.65 crore and liabilities on him is Rs 10.36 crore. AAP candidate from Ghumarvi in Bilaspur, Rakesh Kumar Chopra has total assets of 21.68 crores and liabilities of 8.77 crores.
Highest income of Rajendra Rana
The highest income in the income tax statement has been declared by Rajendra Rana from Sujanpur with annual income of 9.51 crores. On the second number, Sanjay Parashar from Jaswan-Paragpur has declared 4.41 crores and Rajesh Thakur from Gagret has declared annual income of 3.37 crores.
