Accused ex-cop Gagandeep Singh carried RDX in bus to Ludhiana, say officials | Ludhiana News – Times of India

LUDHIANA: The prime accused ofC, dismissed cop Gagandeep Singh, travelled with RDX explosive in a bus to reach Ludhiana from Khanna, confirmed officials who are part of the investigation the blast at the Ludhiana courts complex.
An explosion on the second floor of the Ludhiana district court complex took place on December 23 and the main accused Gagandeep Singh, who was dismissed in a drug case, was killed in the blast and at least six more people suffered injuries.
The police recovered Singh’s scooter from the Khanna bus stand parking days after the incident. Besides, a car without number plate was also recovered from the parking lot of the court complex and police were tracing its owner to ascertain if the car is in anyway connected to the blast.
The police also suspect that Singh was dropped by someone outside the court complex or was handed over the explosive here in the city.
“Singh travelled from Khanna to Ludhiana in a bus. He also carried RDX explosive, used for the blast, in a bag,” an official said. “He had left the house with the bag of explosives, on his scooter. As of now, the angle of an accomplice accompanying him has been eliminated,” he added.
