The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has started the Bijli Andolan in Haryana. Delhi Chief Minister and party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann launched it in Panchkula on Sunday. On this occasion, Kejriwal said that Punjab and Delhi are getting free electricity, so the people of Haryana should also get its benefit.

He said that in Delhi also fought on the issue of electricity before the elections, the result is in front of you. In Punjab also fought elections along with the electricity movement and formed the government of Maan Saheb. Kejriwal told the workers that after Delhi and Punjab, elections will be fought in Haryana with the same formula.

Delhi’s example given
Arvind Kejriwal said that I did agitation against Sheila Dixit’s government regarding electricity. People made them win the elections and the government was formed for 49 days. Within these days, we reduced the bill to zero. After this, 67 seats came. Government has been formed. Today, along with Delhi, we have also formed the government in Punjab on the issue of electricity. Now it is the turn of Haryana.

8 hours power cut
Kejriwal said that I myself am a resident of Haryana. My relatives, friends are from here. These people keep coming to Delhi to meet me. He tells that there is a lot of electricity problem in Haryana. There are power cuts. Some say it takes six hours. Some say it takes eight hours. A BJP leader has just tweeted that there is an eight-hour cut in Gurugram. There is not even an hour’s cut in Delhi. The electricity bill is also high in Haryana.

More than 1500 are being charged for 300 units
Kejriwal said that the Haryana government is charging people Rs 1,200 for consuming 200 units of electricity and more than Rs 1500 for spending 300 units more. While in Punjab zero comes when 300 units bill comes. The Delhi government has reduced the electricity bill to zero after spending 200 units of electricity.
