AAP Secretary Sandeep Bhardwaj commits suicide: The cause of death is not clear; Was worried about not getting ticket in MCD elections

AAP’s trade wing secretary Sandeep Bhardwaj has committed suicide. On Thursday evening, he was found hanging at his house in Rajouri Garden, Delhi. He had died on the spot. The reason for the suicide is not clear. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem.

According to media reports, Delhi MCD was upset for many days due to not getting tickets in the elections. There has been no response from any AAP leader on this so far.

Police engaged in investigation of the case
His friend Kukreja had taken Sandeep Bhardwaj to the hospital, but he had died before that. For what reason did he take this step, the police is probing it. The police have refused to give more details on this. For now the police have started action under 174 CrPC.

Leader as well as businessman
Sandeep Bhardwaj was the secretary of AAP’s trade wing Delhi Pradesh. Apart from this, he was also a businessman. According to the information, he was divorced. He has two sisters and a 20 year old son. Sandeep was the owner of Marbles in Rajori Garden.
