Congress’s India Jodo Yatra is in Maharashtra for the 65th day today. In Hingoli district here, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray joined the Congress’s visit. He was accompanied by Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Council Ambadas Danve, Shiv Sena MLA Sachin Ahir. At the same time, Congress worker Shri P Ganesan, who was involved in the yatra, passed away today. Rahul Gandhi expressed grief over his death.

In a post on social media, Rahul Gandhi said, “Deeply saddened by the demise of our fellow traveler P Ganesan ji. He was a committed worker of Congress and has been involved in every journey and campaign of the party in the last 3 decades. We have lost a dear companion in India Jodo Yatra.

Yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh on November 20
Bharat Jodi Yatra is going on in Maharashtra for the last five days. On Thursday, Rahul addressed a rally in Nanded. This yatra in the state will continue till November 19, Rahul will hold a meeting on November 18 at Shegaon in Buldhana. After this, the Yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh on November 20.

The journey will last for 150 days
It started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on 7th September. The journey will end at Srinagar passing through Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh. 120 passengers involved in the yatra will cover 3570 kms in 150 days. It also includes 32 women. The purpose of this Congress visit is to strengthen the Congress in the country.
