All three legendary players, along with Karthik, have been a part of the ODI World Cup commentary panel. In the video, Karthik joked about how such cricket stars were “brought to their knees” by an Indian airline. Sharing the footage, Karthik wrote, “A little too luxurious for us today”. The hilarious yet heart-warming interaction between the cricket legends sparked several reactions on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

Dinesh Karthik and his fellow commentators were supposed to head to the Australia-Sri Lanka World Cup 2023 game scheduled to take place in Lucknow but they were seemingly delayed due to some technical difficulties.
Speaking of the game, Australia fielded first after losing the toss. Aussies had a poor start as they failed to scalp some early wickets to gain early control. Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera stitched a 125-run partnership during the early stages of the innings. Despite the good start, the Asian outfit lost control of the match after the 20th over as both Pat Cummins and Adam Zampa combined for four wickets. The match was interrupted by rain in the 32nd over.
