BERHAMPUR: Police on Wednesday arrested a member of a gang of vehicle thieves and seized three stolen vehicles from across the state, including one from Berhampur.
“The accused has been identified as Ujir Khan (57) of Mukunda Prasad in Khurda town,” said sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Berhampur town, Bishnu Prasad Pati.
While a stolen SUV was recovered from his possession, another two vehicles were seized from Bena Panjari in a nearby village in Jatnai. The gang stole six vehicles from Berhampur.
