A total of eight people including both the districts have been arrested and sent to jail. On the basis of video footage and questioning of suspects, investigation is being done to trace the rioters.

In this, FIR has been registered against 200 students in RPF police station and 500 including 4 nominated in GRP police station. Here four named accused Arun Kumar Pandit, Vishnu Shankar Pandit, Varun Pandit and Ravi Shankar Kumar Pandit have been sent to jail.

At the same time, in the case of creating ruckus on the railway platform of Nawada, the police have registered a case against 500 unknown people. Here 32 people were detained by the police for creating a ruckus. Out of which 4 were sent to jail and 28 people were released after filling PR bonds.

Railway Minister said – some people are taking wrong advantage of the students’ performance
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav held a press conference at 3.30 pm in view of the violent protest by the students. He said that we did not get any complaint regarding the examination. We have formed an inquiry committee and it will look into it. The committee will submit its report by March 4.

He appealed to the students that railways is your property and protect it. The Railway Minister said that some people are taking wrong advantage of the students’ performance. Students should not be confused, this matter is of the country. It is an appeal to the students to present your subject to us and look at it with sensitivity.
