78 lives lost due to a doctor in Saran: Homeopathic medicine was used to make poisonous liquor; 5 arrested including doctor

In Bihar’s Saran, 78 people died due to spurious liquor. Initial investigation suggested the cause of death from spirit. SIT arrested 9 businessmen. A big disclosure was made in this incident on Friday.

In the press conference, Saran SP Santosh Kumar told that homeopathic medicine was used in making poisonous liquor. A practicing doctor has supplied the medicine.

The police arrested five people including the doctor. According to the administrative report, so far only 38 people have died in this incident.

Whose viscera has been sent for investigation. In the Saran spurious liquor case, the involvement of a mastermind doctor has come to the fore, who used to make liquor from homeopathic medicines and transport it to every nook and corner of the district through associates and vendors.

Everyone’s health started deteriorating after drinking alcohol.

It was sold as an English ale in bottles by making a branded label. This doctor is also responsible for the deaths due to spurious liquor in Siwan.

The SP told during the press conference that a large quantity of 450 ml bottles of homeopathic medicines used in making liquor have been recovered by raiding Doila village under Saran’s Isuapur police station.

Five including the doctor have been arrested. Earlier also 9 people have been arrested in this case. At the same time, Chapra Product Superintendent Rajneesh Kumar said that this has been done in a sponsored manner.

Homeopathic medicine has been used. Action will be taken under Section-302 in this. All will be tried for murder.

During treatment, 78 deaths occurred one by one.

The accused doctor is a resident of Noonnagar Kahi village.
The SP said that the mastermind of the spurious liquor case is Rajesh Singh, a resident of Noonnagar Kahi village in Jalalpur. In this, Sanjay Mahato, Arjun Mahato, resident of Doila village of Isuapur, Shailendra Rai, resident of Takina village of Madhaura and Sonu Kumar Giri, resident of Dhoop Nagar Dhobwal village of Khaira are also included.

Rajesh Singh used to run a homeopathy clinic in Haryana. There he came to know about making liquor by mixing homeopathy medicine and other chemicals. He was doing liquor business in Chhapra for years.

The series of deaths continued for 4 to 5 days.

Two watchmen were dismissed for drinking alcohol
The DM has taken strict action against two watchmen who made fun of prohibition. Ganesh Manjhi of Maker police station and Manik Rai of Madhaura police station have been sacked. In his order, the DM has said that the conduct of these two watchmen is against the Government Servant Rules and they were also behaving adversely in prohibition. Both the watchmen were arrested for consuming liquor.
