Teacher’s Day is ahead. A day to honor teachers. And on the same day, the education department will award 61 teachers of the state. According to the department, this time the maximum number of teachers will get education in Kolkata. A total of seven teachers from Kolkata will receive this teaching honor.
This honor will be given to 10 people in a function organized at the meeting. The rest will be provided at the district level.
2 teachers each from Bankura, Birbhum, Hooghly, Howrah, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, Jhargram, Malda, Murshidabad, West Burdwan, East Burdwan, East Medinipur will be given this honour. It is reported that one teacher each from Alipurduar, Dakshin Dinajpur and Kalimpong is getting this award. Three teachers each from Darjeeling, West Midnapore, South 24 Parganas and Uttar Dinajpur will get education. Four teachers each in Purulia and North 24 Parganas will receive the Education Award. Five teachers of Nadia will receive this education award.
A school teacher from Calcutta city, two professors from Calcutta University, two professors from Jadavpur University and the principal of a college under Calcutta University will receive this scholarship. Already started sending letters about it. This special honor will be shown at the hands of the great teachers of the state on Teachers’ Day. The government will honor those who play a major role in creating future citizens.
But not only honoring the teachers, on this day the meritorious students of the current year will also be specially felicitated. In all, it is known that 1141 meritorious students will be felicitated by the Department of Education.
