A major accident has happened during the Barawafat procession in Bahraich, UP. The iron pipe in the handcart involved in the procession collided with the high-tension line, due to which 6 people died. Two people have been badly burnt in the accident. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. The family told the superintendent of police that 6 youths died in the process of saving each other. The incident is of Bhagadwa Masupur village of Nanpara Kotwali area.
The tableau was decorated on the hand cart. Which the youths were bringing by pushing. The family is also blaming the negligence of the electricity department for the accident.
4 people died on the spot
It is being told that all the people were returning from the procession on Sunday morning. When he reached near Masookpur village of Nanpara Kotwali area. Then the iron pipe installed in the procession cart collided with the electric high-tension wire. Ashraf Ali (30), Arfaq (10), Sufyan (12), Mohammad Ilyas (16), Safiq (12), Tabrez (17) died on the spot in the accident. Apart from this, 2 people Murad Khan and Chand Babu were badly burnt.
After the accident, there was shouting at the spot. The injured were admitted to the hospital.
One died during treatment
All were taken to the Community Health Center Nanpara for treatment, but Tabrez (17) also died during treatment. The condition of 2 others is critical. The doctors have referred Murad Khan out of these to Lucknow. While Chand Babu is being treated at CHC Nanpara. Doctors have described their condition as critical. The incident has created a ruckus in the family.

Electricity department did not listen to the complaint
According to eyewitnesses, the accident took place due to the negligence of the electricity department. Local people said that three times complaints were made to the officials of the electricity department about the hanging of the high tension wire. Eight thousand rupees were also given to the electricity department, but even after this the wires were not repaired. Due to which the deaths have taken place.
