Six judges of the Karnataka High Court have been threatened with death. An unknown person made this threat to Muralidhar, Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the court by calling and messaging WhatsApp from an international number and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh.

The caller also gave the account number of Pakistani bank ABL Allied Bank Limited and said that the Dubai gang would kill the judges if the money was not deposited. The caller also shared some numbers with the PRO saying that these Indian shooters are our own shooters.

Message sent in Hindi, Urdu and English
The PRO said that the call was received on July 12 at 7 pm. The threatening message was sent in Hindi, Urdu and English. The PRO has lodged an FIR in this matter with the Bengaluru Police. The names of the judges who have been threatened with death are Justices Mohammad Nawaz, HT Narendra Prasad, Ashok Nijagannavar, K Natarajan and Veerappa.
