This time in eastern Ladakh, the Indian Army is on alert mode to keep an eye on the misdeeds of China during winter. Arrangements have been made for weapons and all necessary items for 50,000 soldiers in Demchok and Depsang on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.
Indian army again
A budget of one lakh rupees has been kept for the uniform of every soldier posted on the LAC. This is the third year after the Chinese attack in Galwan in May 2020, when the Indian Army in Ladakh is gearing up to thwart the Chinese plan in winter. After Galvan, there have been 16 rounds of talks between India and China. Still, China is not bringing its troops to Galvan’s earlier position.
In eastern Ladakh, China was plotting in Galvan since the beginning of May 2020, after which the tension here continued to increase.
General Pandey said, China can increase the army gathering
Army Chief General Manoj Pandey recently said that China has not reduced the army on the LAC. There are indications that China may increase its military mobilization in the winter. The Army Chief said that the situation along the LAC is stable now, but it is difficult to forecast ahead.
Three layered uniform, special tent also for jawans
Special three-layer uniform has been provided for the Indian soldiers posted in eastern Ladakh at an altitude of 12 thousand feet. Special thermo tents have been installed at the outpost to prevent winter. Special diet supplements are also being given. BRO has made 20 km road from Pangong Lake to Hot Spring.
In 2020 China attacked Indian Army in Galvan Valley
In 2020, China deployed troops in the border areas of Eastern Ladakh on the pretext of exercise. After this, Chinese soldiers infiltrated at many places in this area. In response to this, the Indian Army had also deployed a large number of Chinese soldiers in this area.
The situation had become so bad that after more than 4 decades, bullets were fired on LAC. Meanwhile, on June 15, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in a clash with the Chinese Army in the Galvan Valley.
