A major accident has taken place amidst rain in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. Due to the collapse of the wall of Halol GIDC Company, many people got buried in it. 4 children died in this incident. Six other people injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital.
According to information, the victims of the accident had come to Halol from Madhya Pradesh for work. The GIDC wall collapsed during the rains and came under its grip. On the information of the accident, the police and fire department teams reached the spot and conducted the rescue operation. People buried under the debris of the wall were pulled out, but the lives of 4 children could not be saved.
Three of the four dead children were siblings.

All the children who lost their lives in the accident are below 5 years of age. One of these children was only two years old. Both the victim families had made huts with the support of the wall and were living in the same. Due to rain, all the people were present in the huts during the accident.
The age of the four deceased children was less than five years, one child was only 2 years old.

Three of the four dead children were siblings. The GIDC wall that fell was very weak. It is believed that the weight of the wall increased due to continuous rains. After this the wall broke down in the flow of water. Due to which these families did not get time to escape.
The victim’s family had come to Gujarat to work as laborers from Madhya Pradesh.
Alert issued for 10 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 10 districts. These 10 districts include Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Dahod, Surat, Tapi, Dangs, Navsari and Valsad. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Saurashtra’s Bhavnagar and Amreli today. In Ahmedabad too, light rain has started since morning.
