- Jammu Kashmir Encounters| 3 Terrorists Killed In Pulwama Encounter With Security Forces

In Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, 3 terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists since Saturday evening. Security forces surrounded the area after receiving information about 2-3 terrorists hiding in Drabgam area of Pulwama.
One terrorist was gunned down late on Saturday night, while the other two were killed in the action on Sunday morning. According to the information, the security forces surrounded both the terrorists, after which one terrorist was killed.
All terrorists were local
According to IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, all the terrorists killed were local and were associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. One of them has been identified as Junaid Shirgojri, who was involved in the murder of constable Shaheed Riyaz Ahmed on May 13.
The other two terrorists have been identified as Fazil Nazir Bhat and Irfan Malik from Pulwama district. Ammunition including two AK-47 rifles and a pistol were also recovered from the spot.
4 terrorists killed in 36 hours
Four terrorists have been killed in the last 36 hours in the Valley. A Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was killed in the Khandipora area of Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning. According to the Kashmir Police, two terrorists opened fire on the security forces in the early hours of Saturday, after which this operation was carried out.
Earlier on Tuesday, in the same area in Jammu and Kashmir, security forces had killed four terrorists in three separate encounters within 24 hours.
