Sidhu Moose Wala’s father is Sardar Balkaur Singh, a former army officer. Sidhu Moose Wala had a difficult childhood. In the last Ardas of Moose Wala, his father told that Sidhu used to cycle 24 km to go to school.
He took music lessons from Harvinder Singh Bittu of Ludhiana. Moose Wala did his degree in electrical engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab.
During this, he used to write songs and participate in college fests. Moose Wala’s father had said in his son’s last prayer that he used to pay his fees by writing songs.
