The Indian government has once again launched a digital strike on Pakistan. The IB ministry has blocked 22 YouTube channels on Tuesday. Among them there are 4 Pakistan based YouTube news channels. These include Duniya Mere Ahead, Ghulam Nabi Madani, Haqeeqat TV, Haqeeqat TV 2.0. All these networks were being run with the aim of misleading Indians by spreading false news.

Apart from these, 3 Twitter accounts, a Facebook account and a news website have also been blocked. The ministry said that these channels were spreading false propaganda about India’s security, public order and foreign relations. Let us inform that for the first time 18 Indian YouTube news channels have been blocked under the IT Rules, 2021.

35 YouTube channels were blocked in February
Earlier in February, the government blocked 35 YouTube channels, 2 Twitter accounts, 2 Instagram accounts, 2 websites and a Facebook account. This action has been taken under IT rules. All these accounts were operating from Pakistan.

20 YouTube channels were blocked earlier in December of 2021
In December last year, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with intelligence agencies, ordered the blocking of 20 YouTube channels and two websites. Because they were spreading anti-India propaganda and fake news. The ministry said in a statement in December that these YouTube channels and websites are linked to networks operating from Pakistan.
