The mountain cracked during mining in Tosham area of Bhiwani district of Haryana at 8:30 am on Saturday, in which 20 to 25 people were buried. At present, the bodies of three laborers have been recovered. Several Poklen machines, trucks and other vehicles were also buried under stones weighing hundreds of tons that fell from the cracking of the mountain.

Tehsildar Ravindra Kumar told that three bodies have been removed from under the stones. The deceased are laborers from Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Bhiwani Civil Surgeon Raghubir Shandilya told that there is a possibility of a large number of casualties in the accident. At the same time, Agriculture Minister JP Dalal and Bhiwani SP Ajit Singh Shekhawat have reached the spot along with the staff.
