11th day of Monsoon session today: Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha adjourned till 2 pm; Opposition uproar continues on many issues including misuse of investigative agencies

The monsoon session of Parliament continues to be a ruckus. On Monday, both the Houses of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned for the second time till 2 pm. Congress MPs have been creating a ruckus over the arrest of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut by the ED, the government’s misuse of central investigative agencies and suspension of four of its Lok Sabha MPs from the current session.

Shortly after the proceedings began in both the Houses of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Monday, the opposition started a ruckus. Its Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 12 noon.

Lok Sabha proceedings resumed at 12 noon. After this, there was uproar over the reinstatement of suspended MPs and the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm. At the same time, there was uproar and sloganeering in the Rajya Sabha regarding the action of ED. After this the Rajya Sabha was also adjourned till 2 pm.

Tharoor said – Concern increased over the misuse of ED
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said, ‘We are concerned about the misuse of ED. The work of government institutions should not be used for political gains, but they have a special function. We are in a country where democracy has its own importance, which should be preserved. The voices of opposition leaders should not be suppressed.

Anurag said – Congress is not serious about the house
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Congress and some parties have become limited to just rioting. We do not know where Rahul Gandhi ji is not coming to the house, but the people of Congress are not serious about the house. Discussion on inflation has started today, but the opposition is not ready to discuss it even today. This exposes the face of the opposition that these people come just to attack and they do not believe in discussing.
