1,194 active cases of corona in Punjab: 30 deaths in 3 months of AAP government; On 44 oxygen-ventilators, the health minister’s chair is vacant

In Punjab, the active cases of corona have increased to 1,194. After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government came to power, 30 people have died of corona in 3 months. Till Friday, 44 patients have reached life saving support. In which 31 are kept on oxygen, 10 on ICU and 3 on ventilator.

In the last 3 months, 4105 positive patients have been found. Out of which 2,930 have been cured. Despite this, the health minister’s chair is lying vacant in Punjab. This chair is lying vacant after CM Bhagwant Mann sacked the previous health minister Vijay Singla. Due to which the situation of Corona does not seem to be reviewed.

195 cases found in 24 hours, situation worsening in Ludhiana and Bathinda
On Friday, 195 corona cases were found in Punjab during 24 hours. The maximum number of 40 cases were found in Ludhiana. The situation in Bathinda is deteriorating rapidly. On Friday, 37 patients were found here with a positivity rate of 13.03%. 28 cases were also found in Mohali and 19 in Jalandhar. The positivity rate of Punjab was 1.54% yesterday.

After Mohali and Ludhiana, Bathinda is becoming a hotspot
Till now, Mohali and Ludhiana were getting the maximum number of corona cases in Punjab. However, now Bathinda is also on the way to become a hotspot. There are currently 338 active cases in Mohali. Active cases have increased to 220 in Ludhiana and 122 in Bathinda. Active cases are less than 100 in all other districts.
