100% voting in Tshigang: World’s highest polling station, 52 voters cast their votes at 15256 feet height

100 per cent polling was recorded at Tashigang, the world’s highest polling station in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the voters to vote here since morning and about 1 hour before the polling was over, the voters here voted 100 percent.

Tshigang polling station is situated at an altitude of 15256 feet above sea level. There are a total of 52 voters here, who exercised their franchise. This time there are 30 male and 22 female voters in the polling station and the polling station was decorated since morning.

Traditionally decorated polling booth Deputy District Election Officer Abhishek Verma told that Tshigang polling booth was decorated in a traditional way. Voters also came here to vote in traditional dress. exercised his right to vote. He said that provision was also made for traditional dishes in this polling booth, in which Sattu dish was prepared.

Voters were welcomed in a traditional way. Due to which the polling teams have played an important role in voting here. Along with this, voters also gave a message to vote.

Camps were organized for awareness

Deputy District Election Officer Abhishek Verma said that awareness camps were organized here to make voters aware. People were made aware about voting. This is the reason that the awareness camps of the administration have also paid off.

There were 37 voters in the year 2019. Earlier, in the world’s highest polling booth, there were 37 voters in the year 2019 elections, of which 29 were male and 18 female voters. While Sikkim polling station with an altitude of 4443 feet was given the highest polling status before the year 2019, but after that polling station at Tashigang became the highest polling station in the world.

Message to be aware If we talk about the voting percentage during the assembly elections in Himachal, then there are such polling stations in many urban areas, where 50 to 60% voting has taken place. Which directly shows that despite being educated people in urban areas, they are not aware of voting. But despite being a tribal area, the people of this highest polling station in the world have given this message of awareness to the world.
