100 Hours For 0.5% Equity: Pitcher Surprises Shark Tank India 2 Judges With Unusual Ask

New Delhi: Like in the first season, there were some incredibly creative pitches and business concepts in the most recent season of ‘Shark Tank India’. A number of them astounded the judges and the audience with the immense potential that the founders possessed. In a recent episode on the business reality show, a pitcher left the Sharks surprised when he asked for their time for 0.5% equity and not money.

In a new promo shared on the official Instagram handle of Sony Entertainment, the pitcher can be seen setting the electric kit on fire. The owner of Dhruv Vidyut packed his presentation with creative tests and attempts to show the battery’s longevity.

He then continued explaining., “Yeh cycle abhi bhi part 58% logon ke daily commute ka hai. Dhruv Vidyut electric conversion kit. Yeh ek sadharan cycle mein sirf 20 minute mein fit ho jata hai aur usko ek battery se chalne vali cycle mein upgrade kar deta hai. Toh sharks mereko aapke 100 hours of time for 0.5 percent equity.”

The Sharks were taken aback when he made this unusual request.

“And money?,” Vineeta asked.

“No money” Aman responded.

A pitcher has never previously attempted to make a deal without any money, so this would be a first.

The official promo closes on this unusual hook, leaving us in the shadows of what will happen next.

Meanwhile, a contestant from Shark Tank India season 1 alleged that the judges ghosted after offering a deal on the show. In a series of tweets, Akshay Shah, who is the founder of iWebTechno, claimed that two judges promised investment to a pitcher, but after the show ended, they never met him or even responded to his emails.

Shark Tank India season 2 features six sharks – Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal and Amit Jain.
