10 people including 9 people of the same family died: pickup was going to the wedding ceremony, DCM collided from the front in Moradabad

A horrific road accident took place in Moradabad on Sunday afternoon. The speeding truck hit the pickup hard. In this, 10 out of 22 people in the pickup died. The dead include three girls, four women and three men. 12 injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. All are from the same family. The incident is of Bhagatpur police station area.

Abbas’s sister Mansar Jahan, who lives in Korvaku village of Bhojpur police station area, had a daughter and a son. To attend the same, Abbas along with his brother Shabbir and Chhote Haji’s family was going to the Fiza marriage hall at Topkhana, Rampur by pickup.

There were about 22 people including women and children in the pickup. A DCM coming from the opposite direction hit the pickup from the front near Khairkhata village on Dalpatpur road at around 1.30 pm. As soon as the collision occurred, both the DCM and the pickup overturned on the roadside.

In this accident Aashifa (40), Rabia (14), Hanifa (42) and the driver of the pickup Mohd. Alam died on the spot. While 18 people were rescued and brought to the district hospital. 6 people died during treatment there. The rest of the seriously injured were taken to Cosmos Hospital. Eyewitness said – DCM was coming from wrong ride

Eyewitness Mohammad Shajid told, the pickup was going from Dongarpur to Dalpatpur. While DCM was going from Dalpatpur to Dongarpur. It is the fault of the DCM. He was coming from the wrong side. Due to the narrow road, the DCM driver tried to take a fast side, during which the pickup collided.
