Five youths arrested for kidnapping Mochiwala resident Ankit are in police custody.
A young man Ankit, who came to meet a woman in Fatehabad, Haryana, was kidnapped by the woman’s husband and his friends. It is alleged that he was kept hostage at different places. He was thrashed repeatedly after being naked and a video of it was also made. After getting information about the kidnapping, the police swung into action, freeing the young man from village Phulan and admitted him to the hospital. Police have arrested five accused of kidnapping and assault. Ankit is said to be calling from the wife of one of the accused Pankaj.

Ankit, a resident of Mochiwali village of Fatehabad, told in the complaint given to the police that on Saturday his wife had an examination in Hisar College. He had gone to Hisar to leave his wife. When he was returning, the wife of Pankaj, a resident of his village Mochiwali, called him on his WhatsApp and called to meet him near Papiha Park. After reaching Fatehabad in his car, he went straight to Papiha Park. While there he was talking to Pankaj’s wife when in the meantime the woman’s husband Pankaj, Amit, Sumit, resident of Bijalamba and Rajkumar, resident of Phoolan and Abhishek, resident of Gurunanakpura in the city reached there. They were already waiting for him hiding there.

Ankit says that these people kidnapped him on the strength of a pistol. The youths put him in his car and first took him to the officer’s colony of the city. There Ankit was beaten up naked and his video was also made. After beating here, the village took Phula, which is the prince’s village. The young man was tied there. The youths also beat him up after being naked there and made a video of it.
Police reached with the help of mobile location
Meanwhile, the police got information about Ankit’s kidnapping. The police started investigation and traced the place where Ankit was taken hostage with the help of mobile phone location. After this the police reached the spot. Hostage Ankit was taken out of village Phulan’s room and admitted to the hospital. In this case, the police have arrested the five accused from Hanspur Road in the city.

City police station in-charge Om Prakash Chugh said that we had received information that Mochiwala, a resident of Ankit, has been kidnapped. As soon as the information of the incident was received, he reached the spot with his team and after chasing the kidnappers for about two and a half to three hours, Ankit was freed from their clutches. The police have registered a case and arrested five Pankaj, Amit, Sumit and Rajkumar in this case. Police investigation continues.
