The Yogi government has been on the target of the opposition since the beginning regarding the encounter in UP. - One lakh prize kittu was killed in Varanasi on November 2020.

According to the figures, 139 criminals were killed while 2,196 were injured in encounters during the tenure of the Yogi government. During this, 13 policemen also died while 1,122 policemen were injured. Not only this, during the tenure of four and a half years, illegal assets worth 15 billion 74 crores of the mafia were confiscated. In this, illegal assets worth 13 billion 22 crores have been confiscated in the last two years.
Reward was declared on 111 criminals
- Vikas Dubey was at the top of the list of rewarded miscreants. A reward of Rs 5 lakh was announced.
- There were two miscreants with a reward of 2 lakhs, three miscreants with a prize of one and a half lakhs.
- A prize of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 18, 75 thousand was a crook.
- There were 46 miscreants with prizes of 50 thousand, 20 miscreants worth 25 thousand.
- There were 11 bounties worth 15 thousand and 4 miscreants for 12 thousand.
- A miscreant with a reward of 5 thousand was also killed in the encounter.
- In Meerut, the maximum number of 18 miscreants were killed in the encounter so far.
- More than 7,791 encounters, more than 16 thousand miscreants arrested.
- More than 3 thousand miscreants were injured by police bullets.
