NEW DELHI: Xiaomi is all set to launch its Xiaomi 11i series in India. The company has scheduled a launch event for January 6, where it will launch the Xiaomi 11i series. The company is expected to launch Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge smartphones. Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will be the first smartphone in India to come with 120W fast charging support. The smartphone maker claims that the smartphone can charge up to 100% in 15 minutes.
The smartphones are said to be the rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphones which the company launched in China in October last year. It is expected that the company will launch the same variants in India.
Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge specifications
Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. The displays of the smartphones are protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass5 on top. The duo is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor.
Both the handsets pack 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The smartphones run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 12.5.
Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge sports a triple rear camera with 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra wide angle camera and 2MP telemacro camera. The front of the smartphone is home to a 16MP selfie camera.
The smartphones house side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual SIM support. Xiaomi 11i is backed by a 5,160 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support and the HyperCharge variant houses a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
