Xiaomi is going to be quite busy over the next few weeks. After confirming the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China and globally later this month, the company has now announced the arrival of the Xiaomi 14 in India next month. Xiaomi 14 series was unveiled in China earlier but the company is now preparing for its big launch in India and other markets which has been confirmed for March. Xiaomi 14 will showcase its continued focus on imaging with Leica-engineered cameras and flagship power in tow.

Xiaomi 14 is likely to be the successor to last year’s Xiaomi 13 Pro model for the brand in India. We expect the brand to power the device with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, possibly with 8GB and 12GB RAM variants to play around with the pricing.
Going by the teaser of the phone, Xiaomi 14 could feature three cameras at the back, and we’re eager to hear and see more about the new co-engineered with Leica sensors from the company. The brand has multiple colour options this year and it seems Xiaomi is ready to bring the green variant this year to the country. We also hope that Xiaomi will offer the new Android 14-based HyperOS platform on the device, rather than continue with the MIUI skin which was replaced to be part of new devices like these.
Multiple teasers of the phone’s camera hint at an improved telephoto sensor to capture high-quality portraits and rumours say that the phone will have a battery unit of 4,800mAh with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds.
But now we come to the main question, how will Xiaomi 14 be priced in India? The brand launched the 13 Pro for over Rs 75,000 last year, but having the new Xiaomi 14 suggests we can expect the phone to be available close to Rs 70,000 this year, which puts it as a OnePlus 12 and iPhone 15 rival in the market.
