Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated Vijayadashami in Nagpur on Wednesday. For the first time, female chief guest Santosh Yadav was present during Shastra Puja. Santosh is the only woman in the world to scale Mount Everest twice.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat were present in the Dussehra celebrations of the Sangh. In his speech, Mohan Bhagwat once again mentioned issues like population control, women empowerment, education policy. Said- Population control and religion based population imbalance are such issues, which cannot be ignored for long.

Bhagwat gave a speech for an hour in the presence of the female chief guest. Said- All the work that men do, that women can also do. But men cannot do all the work that women can do. It is important to give women equal rights, freedom to work and participate in decisions.

For the first time such a picture was seen in the Dussehra of the Sangh.

Chief guest of Dussehra celebrations Santosh Yadav and Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat paid tribute to RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.

In Bhagwat’s speech, 5 issues like maternal power, population policy are mentioned… read the full speech

1. Women Empowerment

“It is imperative that women be given equal rights and freedom to work in all fields. We are starting this change from our own family. We will take it through our organization in the society. As long as women are equalized, Participation will not be fixed, till then the progress of the country which we are trying to achieve cannot be achieved.

The Sangh has made mountaineer Santosh Yadav as the chief guest in its program. The presence of women achievers has been a part of well-educated society and has been a source of inspiration in the work of the Sangh since the time of Dr. Hedgewar. Then Anusiyabai Kale was present in our program. The then Indian Women’s Conference chief Rajkumari Amrit Kaur also became a part of our camp. In December 1934 also the chief guest was a woman and this has been going on since then. The woman was also the chief guest in the program of the Sangh held in Akola after the Emergency. Kumudatai Rangenkar from Aurangabad was the chief guest at that Vijayadashami event.”

2. Role of Women in Sangh
“Society is made up of both men and women. We are not debating who is better, because we know that if neither of these two exist, no society can exist. Nothing is created.” These two are complementary to each other and this is the Indian philosophy. Nation building work can be done by different organizations for women and men, but in every social work done by the Sangh, women and men work together They work together. At the time of Dr. Saheb, two separate units were formed keeping in mind the character building. But, women and men have been working together in every task.”

3. Society and Mothership
“If a society has to remain orderly then woman and her maternal power cannot be ignored. We need to strengthen her. We call her mother, we consider her as the mother of the world. When we believe in such things then I don’t understand what the fear is that we limit their activities. And, later when foreign invaders come, all these compulsions become legitimate. The invaders leave, but we keep on running these restrictions. We have never freed women.

We consider him to be the creator of the world, which is a good thing. But because of this we have to keep them imprisoned in the prayer room itself, it is not good. We keep them tied in the houses of worship or keep them closed and keep telling them second class. Apart from this, we have to give them equal rights in the home and society and give them freedom in taking decisions.

In 2017, our women activists conducted a survey on maternal power in the country. Women of all classes were included in this. This survey was started by Nirmala Sitharaman. The result of this survey was that whatever men can do, women can also do it. But all the things that women can do, men cannot do. So there is a need to give freedom of work and equal rights to women in every field.

4. Population and religion based imbalance
“There is a need for a comprehensive population control policy. Which applies equally to all. Keeping the national interest in mind, we have to keep an eye on population imbalance. When one policy is applied equally to all, no one will get concessions. Few years back the fertility rate was 2.1. Contrary to the fears of the world, we did better and brought it down to 2. But falling further down can be dangerous. Children learn society’s behavior in their own family. For that you need to count the numbers in your family. You need people of your equal age, you need people who are older than you.. You need people who are younger than you. When population stops growing, societies and languages disappear .

Inequality in population leads to changes in geographical boundaries. Population control and religion based population balance are important issues which cannot be ignored for long. A complete population policy should be brought and it should be equally applicable to all. Religious imbalances and forced conversions break the country. New countries like East Timor, Kosovo and South Sudan are examples of religious imbalances.”

5. Mother Language and New Education Policy
“We always cry that injustice is being done to our mother tongue. Now such mother tongues are being promoted in the new education policy. But are we sending our children to study in such institutions which are in mother tongue? Provides education? There is a myth that English education is necessary for a good career. This is not true. If we look at the big people of the country, about 80 percent are those who have studied up to matriculation from such institutions, which are their We provide education in mother tongue.Inspite of this fact and new education policy, if we do not send our children to institutions that teach in mother tongue, will this policy ever succeed?

As long as the parents keep telling the children that the purpose of their life is to study and earn good money, whether they like it or not.. till then we will not get cultured and responsible citizens in the country. They will remain only money making machines.”

Bhagwat has already given a statement on population, had said – animals also do the work of producing children.
Mohan Bhagwat attended the convocation ceremony of Sri Sathya Sai University in Karnataka 3 months ago. During this, Bhagwat said – animals also do the work of increasing the population and eating. It is necessary to remain the strongest in the jungle. Only the strong will survive, this is the law of the jungle. This is not the case in humans. When the mighty in humans protects others, then it is a sign of humanity. Read full news…
