City SP West reached the spot after getting information about the incident. 3 FIRs have been registered in the matter. 44 people have been arrested.

The team starts running. Meanwhile, the mining inspector was caught and dragged and beaten. District Mining Officer Kumar Gaurav and Female Mining Inspector Tanmay Kumari are seriously injured. Both are undergoing treatment at Bihta’s hospital.

The case pertains to Parev village of Bihta police station area of Patna district at 2 pm on Monday. The team had received information about overloading. On this, the female inspector of the District Mining Department along with the personnel arrived to check the overloading trucks.
Meanwhile, there was an argument with the truck drivers. After this, the sand mafia and its men started attacking the District Mining Inspector and other personnel with bricks and stones near Parev village on the Bihta-Ara NH main road. To save lives, the district mining team started running. During this, the female inspector got hold of them.
150 overloading trucks were caught
It is said that the mining team had caught about 150 overloading trucks, but the sand mafia attacked and rescued the trucks. Let us tell you that a few days ago, people had set the sand checking point near Parev village on fire.
Arrest is being made – Police
Station in-charge Pramod Kumar told that the information about the incident has been received. The matter is around 2 in the afternoon. The Lady Inspector of District Mines along with her team had gone to stop illegally loaded sand trucks and take action against overloaded trucks. Meanwhile, the sand mafia attacked them. As soon as the information was received, the police started action. Many people have also been arrested.

On this matter, SSP Rajeev Mishra said that the incident has happened. City SP West Rajesh Kumar himself has gone there to investigate the whole matter. So far 44 people have been arrested.
