Woman died of corona in Haryana: Positivity rate increased by 5%; 840 active patients, 3 district hotspots including Gurugram

Corona infection is increasing rapidly in Haryana. 193 new infected have been found in 24 hours. The most worrying thing is that the number of active patients is increasing continuously. Presently the number of active patients has increased to 840. With the recovery rate decreasing, the positivity rate has been recorded at 5.13 percent.

At the same time, a 50-year-old corona-infected woman died in Yamunanagar. The woman, a resident of Radaur block, was referred to Chandigarh PGI on 30 March. The health department committee will perform the last rites of the woman under the ICMR protocol.

3 districts became hotspots
There are 3 districts of Haryana in which new corona infections have increased rapidly. Among these, Gurugram remains at number one. The second and third numbers include Faridabad and Panchkula respectively. 98 new cases have been found in Gurugram, 42 in Faridabad and 25 in Panchkula. 9 new cases have been reported in Yamuna Nagar, 6 in Jind, 4 in Sonepat, 3 in Jhajjar, 2 in Ambala, 2 in Rohtak, 1 each in Sirsa and Kurukshetra.

Death rate 1.01 percent
114 people infected with Corona have recovered after taking health benefits. The state has recorded a recovery rate of 98.91 percent and a fatality rate of 1.01 percent. In 24 hours, 3178 people got vaccinated and wore protective shield against Corona. Of these, 369 people got the first dose and 603 people got the second dose. 2206 people got booster dose installed.

Health department increased investigation
The health department is on alert to prevent the spread of increasing corona infection in the state. The health department has increased the investigation of corona. On April 3, samples of 3003 people were taken across the state. Whereas on April 4, samples of 4864 people were tested. Health Minister Anil Vij had called a high-level meeting of departmental officers regarding the corona infection. In this, the hospitals were ordered to conduct corona test of all the patients of cough and cold and to issue guidelines for wearing masks in more than 100 crowded areas.

The relatives of the woman will also be investigated
Yamunanagar District Monitoring Officer Dr. Vagish Gutain said that the woman from Radaur who died of corona infection was suffering from asthma. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital for a long time. When the condition did not improve, he was referred to PGI Chandigarh on 30 March. Doctors in PGI had sent the corona sample of the woman for examination. In the investigation, she was found corona infected. Corona test will also be done for the relatives of the woman.
