The below normal rainfall in Haryana will have the biggest impact on paddy transplanting from June 15. Paddy is to be sown in 12 to 15 lakh hectares this time in the state. Due to less rain, the target will be reduced or delayed. However, the good news is that the deficient rainfall in June will be compensated in the coming months.

Mercury will increase by 1%
The mercury will cross 45 in June. The reason for this will be less rain. The Meteorological Department says that this time the maximum mercury is likely to increase by 1 percent from normal.
