Wife, children, mother-in-law, how much is your property? The court asked Manik to give an account in the TET case

How much is your property? How much property does the wife own? How many properties are there in the name of son and daughter-in-law? How much property was in the daughter’s name before marriage? Manik Bhattacharya, the ousted president of the entire family’s primary teachers’ board, has to be informed within two weeks (July 5), the Calcutta High Court said in a Tate case.

Manik, a Trinamool Congress MLA from Palashipara, appeared in the High Court on Tuesday afternoon following a High Court order. Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay said to him at the beginning of the hearing session at 2.30 pm, “I am not taking you to task as you are a member of the Legislative Assembly.” After that, the newly removed chairman of the board was asked to provide various information. Manik faced a total of 28 questions including professional qualifications and assets.

In addition, the High Court has directed to provide all the information regarding the movable and immovable property of Manik’s family in the form of affidavit by July 5. Manik’s wife, son and mother-in-law also have to state how much property they own. Not only that, the High Court has also directed to disclose in detail how much property was in the name of Manik’s daughter before marriage. The High Court also sternly said that after giving that account, Manik could no longer claim that he did not provide any property information.
