Even 6 months ago, 3 women were murdered one after the other in this area. When special teams from Lucknow to Barabanki police were engaged, a 24-year-old boy was caught. He used to beat elderly women, then rape and strangle them to death. When the police caught the psycho killer, the murders stopped in the area. But now after getting 2 dead bodies in a row, there is again the same panic in the villages of Ramsanehi Ghat.

First rotten deadbody found in Khajuraha drain
Dariyabad police station area is 10 km away from Ramsanehi Ghat of Barabanki. On 23 May 2023, the dead body of a 28-year-old woman was found in the Khajuraha drain between Utwa and Narghaura villages here. The parts of the woman from face to feet were rotten. People informed the police about the body being found. After this, ASP South Akhilesh Narayan Singh reached the spot with heavy police force.
Police and villagers tried to identify the body. But the dead body smelled so bad that no one could detect anything. Even after 30 days, the police have not been able to identify the dead body. It is suspected that the dead body was thrown into the drain after killing the woman. But, who is the culprit? No one came to know about this.
Second nude dead body found in bushes near Bhanpur Kothi intersection
On the way from Ramsanehi to Haidargarh, there is a crossroads named Bhanpur Kothi. This place is at a distance of 4 km from Kotwali. On the morning of June 13, 2023, people had left for work on the farm. That’s why they saw the dead body of the woman in the bushes near the brick kiln near the intersection. The dead body was rotting lying in the bushes. Clothes were found missing on the body. When people made noise, more than 200 people from 5 nearby villages gathered on the spot. The police were called. Ramsanehi Ghat Kotwali police and CO Harshit Chauhan reached the spot as soon as the matter was informed.
The body had nail polish on its hands and anklets on its feet, but clothes were not found. The police along with the villagers tried to identify the dead body, but this time also did not succeed. 10 days have passed. The police have neither been able to identify the woman nor the culprit. According to the police, the age of the woman found in the bushes could be 28 to 30 years.
People were horrified after two dead bodies were found within 10 km.
Ramsanehi Ghat area of Barabanki is surrounded by 4 districts Lucknow, Barabanki, Ayodhya and Rae Bareli. People associated with business to tourism sector pass through here daily between these districts. In such a situation, there is activity in the Ramsanehi Ghat area till late night. In view of this, the police is speculating that both the women were brought here after being killed from outside. Then dumped in a deserted area. On the other hand, after the dead body is found in the villages here, there is a different panic.
Rani Devi’s house is just 500 meters from the place where the nude dead body was found 10 days ago. Rani has not forgotten that moment till now, when she saw the decomposed dead body of the woman in front of her eyes. Rani, 70, says, “When I came out of the house after taking a bath, I saw 100 people standing at the door. There were also two police vehicles. When I went ahead, I saw that the policemen were taking the woman out of the bush and making her lie on a black foil. Young, she looked like a good family. She was also wearing anklets. But she was bitten by a worm. My head started spinning after seeing all this, then I left.”
Fear among people – the new serial killer has not arrived
There is buzz about these incidents in 10 villages situated between Ramsanehi Ghat to Daryabad. People are saying different things. Some believe that these corpses have nothing to do with the people here. At the same time, there is also a fear among most of the people that some new killer has come again.
Sarvesh Kumar, who was found at Bhanpur Kothi intersection of Ramsanehi Ghat, says, “In December, 3 elderly women from this area were killed by a psycho killer. The same fear is being seen again after these incidents. Police found both the decomposed bodies.” Found. No one has been identified. It makes sense that there is someone who is killing women in a way.”
Sarvesh further adds, “Even though the first psycho killer has been caught, he is still there in the minds of the people. Meanwhile, these 2 incidents happened within a month, the fear of psycho killer has been revived.” “

Barabanki police is in alert mode after these 2 sensational cases of unclaimed dead bodies in a month. Police of Asandra police station, Kotwali Ramsanehi Ghat and Daryabad police station are engaged to identify the dead bodies and arrest the criminals. The people living in the villages near where the dead bodies were found are also being interrogated.
We spoke to SSI Akhilesh Prajapati of Kotwali Ramsanehi Ghat. Akhilesh says, “After seeing the dead body, two things are known. First: The dead bodies of women were brought from outside and thrown in the forests here. Second: They must have been brought here 10 to 15 days before the day the body was found. Because the bodies were completely decomposed.”
Don’t you think there is a new serial killer behind these incidents? On this question, Akhilesh says, “Not at all… because in the case of the psycho killer, women from the same area were targeted and killed. The bodies found now are not of any local women. Nor have the people There have been reports of suspicious sightings. So there is no such thing as a new killer.”
Special surveillance team set up to identify the dead bodies
Barabanki’s ASP South Akhilesh Narayan Singh says, “Nothing can be said clearly on these matters until the dead bodies are identified. Once the identification is done, all the reasons will be known. Action is on in both the cases.” Yes. Success will come soon.
Police say that after the recovery of these dead bodies, the list of missing people nearby was also checked in the police records, but there was no match among them. That is, the dead bodies found were of outside women.

24 year old Amarendra became psycho killer
In December 2022, 3 women were murdered in Ramsanehi Ghat police station area of Ayodhya-Barabanki border. The pattern of all the three murders was the same. The name that came behind these incidents was – Psycho killer. The psycho killer only targets elderly women. Then he would beat them mercilessly, rape them. In the end, he used to kill by strangulation.

Police teams from Barabanki, Lucknow, Ayodhya and Sultanpur were deployed to nab this dreaded killer. Even a reward of 25 thousand rupees was kept. Search operation was conducted in more than 30 villages day and night. For 20 days the police kept searching for the psycho killer. Finally, on January 25, Amarendra Rawat was nabbed by the Ayodhya police from Hunhuna village under Mawai police station area. It was learned that psycho killer Amarendra is a resident of Sarva village of Barabanki.

Murder 1: Rape of a 60-year-old woman who went to work from home
On 5 December 2022, a 60-year-old woman from Khusheti village of Mawai had left home for some work. When she did not return till evening, the family members lodged a missing complaint in the police station after searching. Then on December 6 afternoon, the police found the dead body of the woman. There was no cloth on the dead body. The woman had injury marks on her face and head. The postmortem report revealed that the rape was followed by strangulation. The culprit could not be traced.
Murder 2: 62-year-old woman’s body found in Ibrahimabad farm
On December 17, 2022, the dead body of a 62-year-old woman was recovered from the farm in Ibrahimabad town of Barabanki district. The body was found in the evening, but the murder had taken place in the morning. There was no cloth on this dead body either. The postmortem report revealed that the rape was followed by strangulation. The killer was never found again.

Murder 3: News deadbody of 61 year old woman who went for defecation found
On December 29, 2023, a woman who had gone out for defecation at Thethraha village, 3 km from Ram Sanehi Ghat Kotwali, went missing. His dead body was found in a semi-naked state in the field on 30 December. This woman was also 61 years old and the pattern of murder was matching with the first 2 murders. As soon as this dead body was found, the police intensified the search for the psycho killer. The psycho killer was caught 26 days after the third deadbody was found.
